RE: water leak 5th wheel

How long after the install did you notice the leak?If was some time after they might try to blame it on you for not maintaining the caulk or sealent.Just my thoughts.

RE: Hitch and brake controller advice?

I would use a P3 controller and do you need a slider or not but since you have a trailair pin box a Reese or something like would work just fine.

RE: What size hitch will be needed????

RE: Keystone RV

The dealer handled it like he was suppose to called Keystone and told them what was wrong and even sent them pictures.Told them what was needed to fix it and they flat out turned him down and tried to blame me.all Keystone should of told us to call Dexter first thing instead of dragging it out,As far as them handling it they just tried to pass the buck in this case.

RE: Wheel bearing replacement

Just make sure if you have the easy lube axles you don't over grease them and blow the seal out.

RE: Keystone RV

I spoke to several people and the service manager did as well. But like i stated before all they needed to do was call or tell me to call Dexter from the get go instead of wasting a week going back and forth with them.It took five minutes on the phone with Dexter warranty dept. And bingo the parts are now being shipped.

RE: Keystone RV

I have the easy lube axles but with only 700 miles on it and only five months old I see no reason to grease them.Keystone in my opinion was just trying to get out of it.They didn't put alot of effort in to help me out.And then they try to blame me by saying I must have over greased them.

Keystone RV

Awhile ago I posted about having brake problems on my truck and after having it at two different Ford dealers we determined it was my new Challenger. So I took it to the RV dealer and found out it had a bad seal and grease leaked onto the brakes. And of course Keystone refuses to cover it under warranty even after several calls from the dealer. So I made one call to Dexter and they say no problem they will cover it,but yet according to Keystone rep they told us Dexter would not cover it.So much for working with the manufacturer. But I must say Dexter was great to work with.

RE: Chevy 8.1 engine?

I have been looking at diesels and have a V-10 the dealers dont want nothing to do with the big gassers, V-10's are worth nothing in my area now,If i would have known that 2 years ago would have bought a diesel then. And if someone tells you there getting great mileage with there v-10 or 8.1 there giving you a line of B.S.

RE: F350 V10 4:30 gears

RE: Squeaky 5'er hitch

Are you sure it's the hitch?I would get noise from mine and found by spraying some teflon sprap on the hitch and leaf springs of the truck and camper it went away.

RE: GAS Prices!!! I sold my rig, my F-250 is next

The Truck dealers seem to still think there is a big demand for the Diesel truck, most that I have talked to won't even move on there prices.

Dually or not?

Is there any advantage to pulling with a dually besides the added capacity?
